Here is the real deal. Forza 2 is not as good graphically as GT:HD, but it's close. Forza 2 is real enough for me, but I'm a graphic whore too and would like to see a little more. The reason I love Forza is that it is unmatched in gameplay. GT doesn't come close to Forza in gameplay, IMO. The controls feel so smooth and each car handles as it would in "real" life. The damage also sets Forza apart from the competition, as well as the easy to grasp but difficult to master customizatio...
Cute Post.
You think Sony is really concerned about the consumer and world issues? No, they're not out for profit....they're here for us. Awwww.
MS would do Folding@Home precisely to prove a point and to make more money. You're acting as if MS is the leader in the video game industry, you're wrong. Even though MS is the leader in this generation, at this point, they know better than anyone that they are not. Sony is, and will be the leader in the video game industry until proven otherwis...
Launch Day 360 and Launch Day 360 Elite....all working just fine.
The only time I've seen red lights on any XBOX was my modded original XBOX, which happened after a Golden Retriever stepped on the disc drive. :(
If you can afford to drop $21,000 on anything, then chances are that this person wouldn't need to set it up and use it. Obviously a collector's item.
I'm on it. Bout' time!
I bought a PS3 specifically for the Blu-Ray player. I sensed that Blu-Ray would begin to win the next gen DVD format, so I slowed down on my HD-DVD purchases and got a PS3. The PS3 is a logical choice since it was $300 cheaper than a stand alone Blu-Ray player. If there was a $300 BR player on the market then I would have got that before a PS3.
Double Damn!
If you don't have a 360, and you've got an HDTV with HDMI then this is the way to go. That's what the ELITE is out there for. It's not "meant" to be marketed to people who already have a 360.
The $400 Premium system is worth it, obviously, for the excellent system, wireless controller, headset, XBL Silver, great games, demos, trailers, pics, XBL Arcade, 20GB HDD, and all connecting cables for analog and digital connections. All of that is included when you buy the Pre...
You managed to make yourself look like a fool in 1 post as compared to most fools, which it typically takes a dozen posts.
You just proved my point about Blu-Ray and HD-DVD being neck and neck. There was an obvious increase in Blu-Ray sales following the PS3 launches in US, Japan, and Europe. Now that the dust has settled we are seeing sales level out again. Thanks for proving my point.
That being said, you seem to be rooting for one product over another. I don...
You sound like your ability to live depends on Blu-Ray being the adopted next gen format. Are you OK? Just call the cops and Sony will be forced to stop holding the gun next your head.
How bout this....Why don't YOU go to Wal-Mart and take pictures for me? I want to see the clearance HD-DVD's and $80 HD-DVD add on. I'm sure your right, but I just want to see it. I own the HD-DVD add on and a PS3. I'm at Best Buy, Circuit City, and Wal-Mart weekly to look for new movies on both...
...at least I hope so.
Something to get my interest on the Playstation Store. Being used to the XBL Marketplace, the PS Store has been a disappointment so far. They'll pick it up soon though.
Seriously guys...$4? $4 is nothing. If you're playing this game then you're supposed to be 17+, because of the mature rating. Assuming that you're 17+ years old, you should be able to come up with $4.
A bit of advice, if you can't drum up $4 then GET A JOB!!!
All of this "I WANT IT FREE" crap is ridiculous. Is there any other industry that's just giving away stuff? Please name it. You don't go to the gas station and expect a gallon free, or go to McD's and...
I remember these same kind of comparison shots for PGR3. They showed real time vs. real life and it looked just as good as this. Nothing new here.
That being said, first one was "OK"...second sucked...third???
All developer kits are black. They "may" have the new ELITE box with HDMI, but the standard developer kits have always been black.
Remember, cause I know you read the article, all footage shown was from the Alpha build. In fact, no footage has ever been shown of the Beta build. I have to say that I was a little concerned about how the graphics would translate into this generation. Let's just say that I feel much better now knowing that what I just saw was amazing...especially for an ALPHA build.
...then it runs "Vista".
Case Closed.
Everyone wants a piece of MS's fortune.
Looks like some good old innocent fun. I'll be picking this up as I'm desperate to find another good Wii title, other than Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Red Steel.
Can't wait for that 120GB HDD. Getting it as soon as my connection calls me from BB.
After viewing the vids I have to say that I'm hoping to see some better graphics by the time this game launches in November. I fully understand that it's in Beta right now, and the eventual finished will be better. It needs the most improvement with it's textures. We know what the 360 can do (i.e. Gears) with it's ability to render textures, but H3 is not where I'd like it to be right now.
That being said, the gameplay, as usual, looks great. Plenty of new weapons and "tri...
